🌲 Cottage Roads, Family First, and Building a Clear Community Vision 🌲

There is something truly special about taking a deep breath and heading down the dirt road toward the cottage 🚗💨. The trees arch over the trail, the air smells like fresh pine, and for a moment, all the noise of the busy week just fades away 🍃✨.

After a busy morning of clearing through tasks, wrapping up morning routines, and scheduling social media posts, we loaded up the truck and set off for our weekend retreat 🏡. Seeing how hard my son works, especially while recovering from a nasty finger injury from a quick mistake, is a constant reminder of why we push so hard every day 💪🩹. It's all about family, showing up, and being a dependable anchor when things get tough.  

Once we arrived at the cottage, it was time to shift gears 🌲🔥. I fired up the BBQ to help my wife make dinner, spent time getting my son’s hand bandaged up and comfortable, and took a quiet walk down the trail with the dog 🐶🥩.

Later in the evening, while looking out over the quiet woods, I sat down and spent several hours putting pen to paper 📝💡. I completed the full roadmap for my 10-Pillar Platform for the community—focusing on fiscal discipline, protecting local services, keeping youth active, supporting our seniors, and bringing radical transparency to local governance.  

My ultimate motivation is simple: I love this region, and I care deeply about the people in it. ❤️ 🍁 Whether I'm serving as a volunteer firefighter, mentoring local youth, or advocating for local residents, my drive comes from wanting to build a strong, clear, and sustainable future where families can thrive without being overwhelmed by unnecessary friction or confusion.
