There is absolutely nothing quite like a small-town Canada Day celebration. This year, the village of Apsley outdid itself, bringing the community together for a parade packed with homegrown creativity, plenty of Maple Leafs, and an infectious community spirit.
If you missed the festivities or just want to relive the fun, here are pictures of all the sights of what made this year’s parade down Burleigh Street so special!
## A Great Day to Be Canadian
Whether riding along on a Polaris Ranger UTV or sitting on the curb catching candy, everyone in Apsley was a part of the celebration. The sunny skies, the sea of red shirts, and the endless waves made it a perfect reminder of how tight-knit and vibrant this community really is.
Thanks to everyone who came out, built a float, or cheered from the sidelines to make Canada Day 2026 one for the history books! 🍁
What was your favorite float this year?
