The day started off on a peaceful note with a morning walk alongside Susan and our dog, Jax 🐕🍂. There is nothing quite like taking in the crisp air before diving into a busy schedule! Over breakfast (a bagel with peanut butter—a classic choice 🥯🥜), I reflected on an important lesson: recognizing where my energy goes throughout the day. Knowing when to recharge is essential when you're dedicated to serving others!
Throughout the day, I focused on taking meaningful action to support our local community 🏡. I spent time answering emails and had a great interaction with a local resident regarding short-term rental regulations and the accommodation tax 💬. Helping neighbours navigate complex municipal rules and market trends is something I take deep pride in!
To top off the day, I embarked on a fun mini-adventure! I packed up the vehicle and drove my daughter, Faith, all the way to Ottawa for a concert 🎶🚘. Being able to show up for family while serving the community makes every kilometre driven well worth it!
